The Science of Challenge

Mission Statement

This blog is dedicated to driving a discussion on the future of Risk Management in a post-AI world.

This blog will explore findings from Organisational Psychology - a discipline that studies how individuals, groups, and the overall organisational structure interact - and consider how risk management methods, terminology and tools, which have been largely unchanged for the last 20 years, can be developed to leverage these insights.

AI is fundamentally a surveillance technology, allowing a rigorous automated interrogation of unstructured data, and presents a significant challenge to the ongoing relevance of many of the activities traditionally undertaken by risk management functions.  This provides both an opportunity and a threat to the risk management discipline and will, I hope, provide a springboard for innovation.

The Science of Challenge is dedicated to inspiring discussion.  If you would like to contribute please reach out.
